Right on the heels of Workflow Discovery, System Design is the next step.  Taking the information from the Discovery phase and combining it with the expertise BTI has to offer, a custom solution is born.  This phase often includes manufacturer demos, workflow proof-of-concepts (POCs), and budget analysis.  The deliverable for this phase is a fully developed equipment spec, designed around your workflow and budget, that is suitable to bid to a group of integrators.

It's one thing to have a great Broadcast System Design, but add in a facility with the "bones for broadcast", and it will take your product to the next level.  BTI offers a wide variety of construction and MEP related services to make sure your facility is ready to handle everything you can give it.

• • Low-Voltage Cable Infrastructure Planning - BTI will work with you and the necessary SMEs to determine the backbone needs for your facility.  This is a critical step in any project and lays the framework for a successful integration and operation for the next lifecycle of your facility.

  • HVAC and Power Planning - BTI assesses the needs of your media workflow at a high level, and makes recommendations on power and HVAC needs to your MEP and Architect.  This allows for accurate project budgeting and complete documentation when the construction phase kicks in.

  • Pathway Planning - Hand-in-hand with Cable Infrastructure, Pathway Planning is a crucial coordination step in any facility design to make sure that there is a way to get from point A to point B within the building for both Day 1 needs as well as Day 2.

  • Document Generation - The Pre-construction process lends itself to vital information.  BTI will work with the MEP and Architect to make sure all relevant and pertinent information is properly translated to official Construction Documentation.

In conjunction with Pre-Construction, the Construction phase of any facility needs to be managed, and all parties held accountable.  BTI offers on-site support to act as your representative in the field as the trades help you complete your dream facility.

• • Low-Voltage Project Management - BTI will oversee the installation of Low-Voltage Cable Infrastructure.  We make sure the installer follows industry best-practices and all fiber and copper cabling is properly installed and certified.

  • MEP Site Walks - Generation of the proper MEP and Architectural documentation is only step one.  Step two involves implementation.  BTI will make regular trips at key intervals in the construction phase to ensure proper implementation of all coordinated Broadcast MEP and Architectural designs.
